The design explores the themes of music and sound, translating research into a narrative through materials, texture, forms, style and colour.

We were commissioned to design the front of house and conference and banqueting areas of the hotel. Creating a destination for the community, generate sales opportunities, and elevate the hotels standing within the market.
Taking influence from equipment, vinyl’s, cassette tapes, musical symbols and sound vibrations we interpreted these in a contemporary format to create subtle references within the interior via materiality, texture, forms and style.
Colour palettes are inspired by retro influences with playful details added across the spaces. The Abbey Road Studios encompass a quirky backdrop alongside references to past music themes and materials.
With a mix of business and leisure guests, as well as airline crew, the design aspires to speak to all the hotel’s clientele through touches of elegance and refinement that enhance the guest experience, ensuring design creativity whilst upholding the brand vision.
