Engineering consultancy Hexa had aspirations of creating a new workplace in Nottingham that would not only supported their staff in delivering a high quality service, but served as a destination for their team and clients to collaborate, socialise and relax.
We worked closely with the key stakeholders and developed a design scheme the separated the social and entertainment aspects on the ground floor from the more focused work activates on the first floor. The result was an inviting and vibrant bar area that can be seen as you approach the building, which leads through to an entertainment and games area and makes the ground floor ideal for informal collaboration and doubles as an events space. Upstairs on the first floor, a range of desk options, focus areas, meeting rooms and a break out space provides the Hexa team with a number of work settings to carry out their day to day tasks.
